In the new plant in Kansas City, U.S.A. Sara Lee is producing food where containers are used and need to be hygienically cleaned. Therefore the Multinational ordered a Numafa container washing machine, type CWM 1000. With this system Sara Lee is guaranteed spotlessly cleaned containers that meet all hygiene requirements. Depending on the washing programme, the average time of the container cleaning process is about 2 to 3 minutes. Within this short time the container is driven into the holders, tilted, washed, rinsed (possibly disinfected), dripped and then tilted again and eventually taken out of the system.
