With a focus on crate handling and label removal

This year Interpack 2008, a key event in the food and packaging industry which is held every three years, will take place from 24-30 April 2008 in Düsseldorf.
This 18th International fair for packaging machines and appliances, confectionery machines and services will present the future of packing. For Numafa Cleaning & Logistics, this exhibition is an excellent opportunity to show customers and suppliers how our machines have developed over the last few years.

We will demonstrate our ‘Eco Clean Master’ industrial crate washer in combination with a ‘crate stacker / de-stacker’. This modular built industrial crate washer is designed to such an extent that it is possible to link one or more modules together. It is for instance possible to utilise this machine as a stand-alone cleaning system, however the machine can also be supplied in combination with a pre-washing system, a main-washing system, and an air blow drying system. Furthermore, this machine is designed in such a way that it can easily be adjusted to different types and sizes of crates.
The crate stacker/ de-stacker automatically stacks or de-stacks different kinds of crates in a fast and efficient manner. The machine can function as a stand-alone but can also easily be integrated as an in-line solution.

Besides the washing system and the crate stacker / de-stacker, Numafa will also provide the latest updates on developments in the field of label removal, filtration and crate folding/ unfolding.

The High Pressure Label Remover (HPLR) removes different kinds of labels that are placed on the crate during its cycle in the supply chain. This solution can be integrated as part of a newly ordered washing system but can also be integrated into an existing system. Various types of crates can be handled by our label remover unit and depending on the crate design even all four sides can be cleaned in one pass through the washing tunnel. In some cases it is even possible to remove stickers from the inside of the crate.

When removing labels, small particles of label residue can enter the washing water which will need to be removed by means of filtration. During the exhibition we will be pleased to tell you all about our different solutions for your filtration requirements.

The High Capacity Crate Unfolder and Folder (HCCU/HCCF) automatically folds and unfolds collapsible crates. Depending on the type of crate these systems can handle a capacity of up to 2000 crates per hour. Almost every collapsible crate can be unfolded and folded by these machines, e.g. EPS, IFCO, STECO and CHEP.
